New material project settles in Gui'an

According to the Guizhou Investment Promotion Bureau, Gui'an New Area recently held a signing ceremony with Qingdao Zhongke Hualian Advanced Material Co, marking a strategic cooperation agreement for the high-performance lithium battery diaphragm and coating integration project. This signified a new impetus for accelerating the development of the new energy vehicle (NEV) battery and material industrial chain in the new area.

Qingdao Zhongke Hualian Advanced Material Co has independently developed ultra-high-strength and ultra-thin lithium battery diaphragms, which are globally leading in performance, making it the only manufacturer in China capable of providing complete equipment for lithium battery diaphragm production lines.

The total investment for the project is approximately 2.05 billion yuan ($285.57 million), with a land area of about 9.33 hectares, and an expected annual production capacity of 1 billion square meters of high-performance lithium battery diaphragms.

Gui'an New Area will establish a special work group to promote the project to start construction as soon as possible.
