Responsibilities:

The General Office is responsible for drafting policies, regulations and guidelines that facilitate investment promotion, economic cooperation and exhibition-related economic development; conducting promotion and publicity for the convention and exhibition economy, investment attraction, and business environment; and working on research to come up with effective measures for the opening up of the city and the coordinated development of the convention and exhibition industry and the foreign investment industry. The office also deals with Guiyang city's investment promotion and exhibition economy business training and rewards work; drafts comprehensive materials and handles proposals for NPC deputies and CPPCC members.
