Government leaders in charge of the agriculture, rural affairs and business promotion of Xiuwen county, Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, paid a research visit to Beijing on July 20-21.
The visiting group held a meeting with China Agricultural University, during which they introduced the county's basic situation and industrial foundation. The group expressed the hope that the university could aid Xiuwen in its rural vitalization and agricultural industrialization process by leveraging its cutting-edge technologies and development experience.
Tian Jianhui, vice president of the university, said that currently the university is advancing all-round cooperation with the county, he hoped that the two sides could work out a specific schedule for all the projects involved, and elaborated on the future possible collaboration fields, such as in academicians' studios, pork quality improvement, cow feeding and dairy product processing.
The group also visited Beijing Orient Landscape & Environment Co, which was founded in 1992 and became China's first landscape company to go public in 2009. Focusing on environmental protection, ecosystems, and circular economy, the company has formed a unique value chain integrating landscape planning and design, technological research, engineering, investment and operation.
