Bureau leader pledges to bring key projects to Guian

Pi Qirong, head of the Guiyang bureau of investment promotion, said that the release of the three-year action plan (2023-25) to support the high-quality development of Guian New Area urged the investment and business promotion system to continue to optimize the business environment, focus on the "projects-industrial chains-industrial clusters-industrial ecosystem" development pattern, and make breakthroughs in industrial economy.

Pi said that in the future, the city will focus on the digital economy, new energy batteries, and materials industries, as well as the making of key equipment, spare parts and materials. Research on sub-divided industrial sectors will be carried out, and future investment attraction activities will be more targeted. All major event organizers will be encouraged to hold events in Guian New Area.

Meanwhile, efforts will be made to create a more favorable and pragmatic policy environment for enterprise development, a high-quality and efficient service environment, and a transparent legal environment, so as to attract more large-scale and high-quality projects to the new area.
