Guian promotes 36 key projects

On June 18, the Guian New Area City Development and Construction Promotion Meeting was held. The new area is located in Southwest China's Guizhou province.

A total of 36 critical projects for the new area were introduced to corporate and institutions representatives, involving investments totaling 104.79 billion yuan ($14.78 billion).

The meeting invited 44 real estate operators, 80 construction enterprises, 17 survey and design service providers, nine industrial park management firms, 14 trading service corporations, 23 financial institutions, and nine associations of related fields.

Guian New Area is the core region for the "Guiyang-Guian-Anshun" Central Guizhou Urban Agglomeration, and demonstrates prominent policy advantages and sci-tech innovation potential.

Guiyang big data sci-tech innovation city in the new area is positioned as a demonstration zone for the digital economy and ecological civilization, with a planned area of 54.8 square kilometers. By 2030, it is expected to be home to 300,000 people.
