Southwest China's Guizhou province will issue 500 business promotion projects that will involve a total investment of 280.67 billion yuan ($44.09 billion), in response to the State council's support to the province in exploring new ways amid the national Go-West Campaign in the new era.
The relevant document was rolled out in January this year, stating the expectation to the province to build 11 kinds of bases for green agricultural product supply, new energy power cells and material researching and manufacturing, computing power guarantee, resource fine processing, new comprehensive energy, entrepreneurship and business incubation, industrial resource utilization, Sichuan-Yunnan-Guizhou tourism, core spare parts, materials and equipment, liquor manufacturing, and cultural industry demonstration.
The document also encouraged Guizhou to shift its focus to digital economy, culture and tourism, supporting equipment for new energy vehicles, special food, traditional Chinese medicine, and mine, shedding light on the province's future development path.
Among the 500 projects, 259 are industrial ones with an estimated investment of 147.34 billion yuan, 100 are agricultural ones with an estimated investment of 19.48 billion yuan, and 130 are those in modern services with an estimated investment of 105.37 billion yuan.
