Officials visit 2 Bijie colleges to attract talent

Officials from the Guiyang bureau of investment promotion and the Guiyang bureau of human resources and social security visited Bijie Industry Polytechnic College and Bijie Vocational and Technical College in the city of Bijie in Southwest China's Guizhou province on Jan 5.

The aim of the visit was to discuss the employment of 2022 college graduates in Guizhou with the two colleges' leaders.

Bijie Vocational and Technical College currently has 3,991 college graduates majoring in financial management, big data technology and application, e-commerce and 36 other disciplines. Bijie Industry Polytechnic College currently has 733 graduates in seven majors, including highway and bridge engineering and engineering measurement.

The Guiyang bureau of investment promotion collected information on 1,431 positions at 21 enterprises, and plans to match appropriate candidates with positions by holding job fairs at the two colleges.
