Chery Holding Group Co, a diversified enterprise group involved in the automobile industrial chain, has decided to establish an industrial base in Southwest China's Guizhou province. The signing ceremony was held on Sept 13 in Guiyang and attended by high-ranking officials from the Guizhou, Guiyang, and Guian New Area governments, as well as heads of Chery.
The municipal government expressed its gratitude for the contributions Chery has made to Guiyang's social and economic development, and said that Guiyang has been adhering to two bottom lines – development and ecology, with its economic growth faster than most parts of China, its transportation infrastructure largely improved, and capital and industrial factors continuing to converge.
Chery and Guizhou have a solid foundation for cooperation. The two sides reportedly hope to launch practical collaboration projects and forge a win-win situation.
Yin Tongyue, president of Chery, said the group will seize upon development opportunities, explore the market, take full advantage of its strength in technology, management, and market resources, and promote the construction and operation of the project in Guizhou, to contribute to the high-quality development of the local economy.
