Remarkable progress made in Guiyang's business attraction

In addition to its business promotion work station in Shenzhen, Guiyang's bureau of investment promotion also established new work stations in Suzhou and Changsha, sending 47 cadres from the bureau to launch investment promotion activities in the three cities. 

From January to July, the work station in Shenzhen promoted the signing of 250 framework contracts and 118 official business agreements involving 61.3 billion yuan ($9.2 billion). Its Suzhou counterpart has introduced four investment projects worth 1.51 billion yuan. 

In the past seven months of this year, leaders in the Guiyang government have carried out 14 visits to Beijing, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Fujian, and Jiangsu, initiating dialogues with 48 renowned enterprises, including China National Environmental Protection Group, Shenzhen Baoneng Investment Group, and Xtep International Holdings Ltd. 

Since the beginning of 2021, Guiyang has introduced 793 industrial projects, accounting for 88.11 percent of its annual goal, with the amount of capital in place reaching 111.5 billion yuan.
