Guishangyi is a comprehensive intelligent service application launched in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, in January 2019. A new module in the app was officially launched on July 11 at a news conference held at the Guiyang International Eco-Conference Center.
As one of the app's core service sections, the new module is targeted at local firms that tend to seek out favorable policies when running businesses or making investments, but are somehow unable to find the necessary information. The module will serve more than 270,000 enterprises in Guiyang.
After registering on the app, companies can turn to the new module to find information on the policies they are most likely to benefit from.
At the beginning of 2021, the Guiyang government rolled out a policy to subsidize the electricity bills of firms above a designated size. A total of 72 corporations received a combined 15.51 million yuan ($2.33 million yuan) in such subsidies.
Offering five basic services related to preferential policies, firms' claims, government affairs, finances, and the market, the Guishangyi app has become an important tool for boosting the private sector in Guiyang. The number of registered users on the app has already exceeded 175,000, with more than 3 billion yuan in loans offered to companies through the platform.
