GETDZ signs 4.6b yuan in contracts at promotional conference

The Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ), located in the capital city of southwestern Guizhou province, signed five projects at a signing ceremony of the promotional conference for Guiyang development zones held in the GETDZ on Sept 9.

According to local media reports, five projects signed by the GETDZ have a total investment of 4.6 billion yuan ($651 million), involving advanced equipment manufacturing, health and medicine, new materials and other fields.

Included among the five projects, is a new energy lithium ion power battery production line project involving a total investment of 3.15 billion yuan.

The project mainly involves two new energy power lithium battery production lines with a daily output of 200,000 units and 10 new energy battery pack lines.

The second phase of the project will build an automated production line and corresponding supporting facilities for 18650 EV-lithium ion battery production.
