The 21st China International Agricultural Trade Fair, hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, opened in Guangzhou on Nov 28, with Guizhou province standing out with a delegation of 41 enterprises.

This year's fair marked the first time it was held in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, further expanding its influence as the largest and most authoritative agricultural trade platform in China.
At the fair, Guizhou displayed over 300 products, including its signature brands such as Guizhou yellow cattle, Zunyi black tea, and Wumeng apples, of which 30 are regional collective trademarks.

Guizhou's unique geography – low latitude, high altitude, abundant rainfall, and year-round mild climate – create an ideal environment for producing premium agricultural products. In recent years, the province has accelerated its agricultural brand development. Since 2021, dedicated agricultural brand task forces have enhanced standardization, clustering, and brand guidance, achieving significant results.
The fair also highlighted deepening collaboration between Guangdong and Guizhou. Guizhou's high-quality products have gained growing recognition in the Greater Bay Area, and the event provided an opportunity for regional buyers to engage directly with producers. Promotional events organized by the Guizhou delegation fostered dialogue, aiming to build long-term partnerships and expand the presence of Guizhou products in the Greater Bay Area.

During the fair, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs announced 82 new entries to the National Agricultural Brand Development Plan. Four Guizhou products secured spots, including Guizhou yellow cattle and Leishan silver ball tea, further cementing the province's reputation as a leader in agricultural branding. Since the plan's inception in 2022, Guizhou has had 10 products included, the sixth most nationally and the most in Southwest China.
