Guiyang and Gui'an launch tea-tasting event

The 2024 Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area Tea Tasting Event is now open from Sept 15 to Oct 7. It is organized by the Guiyang Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs in anticipation of the seventh Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival.

During the recent Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, tourists flocked to the Gaozhai Tea Plantation in Guanshanhu district, Xijie Street and Yunshan Tea Sea in Kaiyang county, Nangong River Tea Garden, Hongfeng Shanyun Tea Field in Qingzhen county-level city, and the Gui Tea Master Studio in Huaxi district.

At these destinations, visitors experienced the cultural charm of cool Guiyang and had the opportunity to taste premium Guizhou tea for free. They also learned about the techniques and methods of brewing Guizhou tea, submerging themselves in tea culture.

Since 2014, Guiyang and Gui'an have organized tea-tasting events during holidays such as May Day and National Day, promoting Guizhou's tea industry through publicity, product promotion, and brand building, achieving significant success.
