The Guiyang bureau of agriculture and rural affairs has launched investigations on the operation of 189 major agricultural enterprises during the Spring Festival holiday, and has worked out a mechanism to study and address their production plans and existing difficulties in a timely manner.
These efforts will be implemented in order to better help these companies resume operations as soon as possible after the festival.
Before and after the holiday, the government staff members at municipal and county levels visited local enterprises over 30 times, and by Feb 22, all the 189 enterprises resumed production.
Next, the bureau plans to strengthen its coordination with enterprises. It will focus on providing production technology services and offering guidance to enterprises in regards to disaster prevention and mitigation, production safety, and expanding production capacity.
Additionally, the bureau will enhance the allocation of funds related to agriculture, increase credit support, and encourage financial institutions to provide financial services to new agricultural business entities through methods such as subsidized loans and guaranteed fee subsidies.
Efforts will also be made to refine agricultural brands and intensify their marketing and brand promotion.
