Meeting focuses on agricultural product brand building

The Guiyang bureau of agriculture and rural affairs held a work meeting on Jan 5 to make agricultural brand building plans for Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area in 2024. It also summarized the work done in 2023.

Experts from the Guizhou Council of Brand Development were invited to participate and give lectures at the event.

It was urged in the meeting that related government departments should strengthen the supervision and regulation on the quality and safety of agricultural products. Emphasis was also put on promoting the identification of green food, organic agricultural products and geographic identification (GI) products.

Multiple forms of media, such as livestreaming and short videos, will be leveraged to broaden marketing and publicity channels, as well as to expand brand influence.

It was also suggested that government officials of different departments coordinate efforts on agricultural product building.
