Guiyang airport starts winter and spring flight season

The Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport officially started its winter and spring flight season on Oct 29, according to Guizhou Civil Aviation Group Co.

After the seasonal change, a maximum of 5,506 flights will take off and land at the Guizhou province's 11 airports each week, with 4,092 flights at Guiyang airport.

As the only trunk airport in Guizhou, the airport plans to operate a total of 156 routes and serve 112 destinations during the season.

The average passenger load factor at the airport is currently about 84.5 percent, ranking 6th among airports with over 10 million passenger volume nationwide, with sufficient ticket availability and affordable prices for flights to major cities.

After the seasonal change, the route to Hong Kong will increase to two flights per week, while the route to Macao will increase to three flights per week.

Additionally, international flights to destinations such as Osaka, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Phuket, and Nha Trang will be available according to demand.

People will enjoy a wider variety of flights and a more convenient travel experience.
