Bureau helps firms gain modern agriculture funds

On Oct 20, the Guiyang bureau of agriculture and rural affairs revealed that as of Sept 30 this year, Guiyang City and Guian New Area had organized a total of 57 applications for the provincial modern agriculture development fund, with a total funding request of 2.9 billion yuan ($403.97 million). Four projects have been approved, ranking first in the province.

To help small and medium-sized agricultural enterprises increase their liquidity, the bureau and Guiyang Agricultural Investment Group have called for the establishment of sub-funds under the provincial modern agriculture development fund.

The bureau also regularly invites fund companies to introduce agriculture industrialization funds to participating enterprises, interprets the scope of fund support, types of project applications, funding limits, and application procedures, and provides detailed answers to questions raised by these enterprises.
