Harvest season has begun for the rice being cultivated in the paddy fields in Huaxi district of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, and farmhands everywhere are now bringing in the crop.
Due to the impact of the recent wave of the COVID-19 epidemic in the district, the local bureau of agriculture and rural affairs has instructed townships, towns and sub-districts to harvest the rice by time and region.
