An agricultural product exhibition was held on Sept 14 in Guiyang City and Guian New Area, Southwest China's Guizhou province.
The event was organized by the Guiyang bureau of agriculture and rural affairs and featured 11 special towns, 156 specialized villages, eight dominant agricultural sectors, 40 agricultural operators, and more than 200 types of agricultural products.
"Gaozhai village specializes in pepper production. This year, we are bringing two new pepper products to the exhibition, and we sold 500 yuan ($69.65) worth of products within one hour after the exhibition began," said Feng Chengli, a village cadre.
Agricultural products were displayed to develop local special industries, foster local brands, and broaden sales channels for farmers.
