By the end of August 2023, a total of 7,180 metric tons of summer and autumn tea had been produced. Most summer and autumn tea in Guiyang City and Guian New Area this year is being produced in Kaiyang county, Huaxi district, Qingzhen city, and Huchao township.
The sales of summer tea have been strong. Sales outside the province were mainly wholesales by distributors, mainly to Beijing, Shanghai, Henan, Zhejiang, and Fujian.
Next, relevant government departments will take measures to prevent natural disasters such as drought in tea gardens, help districts and counties prepare for extreme weather in tea gardens, arrange for tea enterprises to conduct training on safe production, tea garden management, hand-picking tea, mechanized tea picking, and bulk tea production, and arrange for tea production and sales enterprises to carry out tea-related technical training together.
