Guiyang, Guian host fertilizer reduction training session

On May 19, the 2023 Guiyang and Guian training session on fertilizer reduction and the extensive use of crop straws was held in Xifeng county, Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The session welcomed agricultural specialists and college professors, who were invited to participate and share their expertise in the discussion.

Gao Zhenran, an associate professor at Guizhou University, lectured on the plants' nutrition diagnosis and fertilizing technologies through drones. Experts from the Guizhou Institute of Soil and Fertilizers explained how crop straws can be used as fertilizers.

Representatives from agriculture companies in the local area gathered to discuss the utilization application of drones and related technological services, sharing their opinions and perspectives on the matter.

In the afternoon, agricultural technicians demonstrated using rice transplanters, fertilizer spreaders, and specific methods to reduce the volume of fertilizers in the field.
