Rural toilet upgrading campaign launched in Xiuwen

Officials from the Guiyang bureau of agriculture and rural affairs led more than 100 technicians and craftsmen in a toilet upgrading campaign in Xiuwen county, Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Dec 24.

During the event, technicians explained to villagers how to operate and install septic-tanks, and conducted tests on one of them.

In 2022, Guiyang and Guian New Area will upgrade toilets for a total of 79,866 households.

On Dec 18, a training session was held, instructing more than 2,500 rural craftsmen in practical toilet transformation skills.
