Bureau holds five-year campaign-themed symposium

The Guiyang bureau of agriculture and rural affairs held a special symposium on the city's five-year campaign to build a stronger provincial city on Oct 12.

Officials of the bureau delivered their respective work reports and discussed major indicators and tasks for the next stage.

Ma Xiao, director of the bureau, presided over the meeting and emphasized the need to raise the political stance on new situations and demands and adhere to a problem-oriented method while addressing weak links in agriculture.

The director also called for the building of a project library and deeper government review reforms to simplify work procedures. He also stated that Guiyang will proactively cultivate more agricultural market players to raise its development quality.
