A pastoral tourism program in Qingjiang village integrates agricultural industrial parks, agricultural-themed parks, fruit-picking gardens, fishing ponds, agritainment venues, and rural hotels. Featuring fascinating pastoral scenery, the village has built a series of bases for sightseeing and other recreational activities for tourists.
Qingjiang village is one of 36 special idyllic demonstration villages selected by the Guiyang government in a bid to cultivate special industries, ecosystems, and culture, create pastoral views and architecture, and give full play to the economic, ecological, as well as cultural functions of natural villages in Guiyang.
In a training symposium on the construction of idyllic villages, Chen Anhua, senior engineer of Zhejiang Academy of Building Research and Design Co, shared his understanding and insight into idyllic village building, urging the government to protect the natural landscapes of these villages and make efforts to balance supply and demand.
