Guiyang works with State Council in rural revitalization

The research department of the rural economy of the Development Research Center of the State Council signed a strategic cooperation memorandum on rural revitalization with the Guiyang government on Aug 30. Ma Xiao, head of the Guiyang bureau of agricultural and rural affairs, participated in the event. 

Led by the central government, Guiyang's poverty reduction work has achieved an overall victory. The research department of the rural economy of the Development Research Center of the State Council is a comprehensive State-level high-end think tank that is innovation and research-oriented. 

As the capital of Guizhou province, Guiyang is tasked with the mission of leading the whole province, and is in urgent need of solutions to challenges it faces in agriculture and rural development, as well as feasible models and approaches to achieve rural revitalization. The collaboration of the two sides will certainly promote modern agricultural progress. 

The two sides will launch in-depth cooperation in policy research, decision making, cadre training, and fixed research site construction related to the rejuvenation of rural areas.
