Guiyang rural rejuvenation bureau officially founded

Guiyang's rural rejuvenation bureau was officially founded on June 8, becoming the first of its kind in Southwest China's Guizhou province.

Its foundation is a result of provincial and municipal government demand, and it will provide a powerful institutional guarantee for the rural rejuvenation cause which is underway in Guizhou.

Officials from Guiyang bureau of agriculture and rural affairs said the founding of the rural rejuvenation bureau is good news for the city's whole agricultural and rural system.

Moving forward, the bureau will further consolidate and extend the accomplishments made during the city's poverty reduction work, and grasp new momentum in the agricultural sector in order to build Guiyang into a provincial demonstration city for rural development.
