To cope with the peak return rush, Guiyangbei Railway Station operated 24 hours on Oct 7. Based on data from the 12306 railway ticketing platform, Guiyang's railway authorities tracked passenger flow and allocated transport capacity based on demand. More than 20 additional high-speed trains were arranged between Guiyangbei and destinations including Zunyi, Bijie, and Chengdu.
