Guiyang enhances bus services for National Day holiday

Guiyang Public Transport Co has made advance arrangements to upgrade its transport services for the National Day holiday, enhancing dispatch management at key locations, including scenic spots, transport hubs, and universities, to deliver a safe and convenient travel environment.

All company dispatch centers have been monitoring passenger flow on bus routes in real time. Departure intervals have been adjusted dynamically to ensure sufficient capacity in key areas, such as Qianlingshan Park, Jiaxiu Pavilion, and Huaxi University Town. To cater to student travel peaks before and after the holiday, customized shuttle routes to major railway stations have been launched on demand.

Guiyang Public Transport has optimized capacity on more than 20 bus routes. Emergency transport capacity has been reserved at Longdongbao International Airport and four major transport hubs to quickly evacuate arriving passengers.

Starting Sept 25, Bus 615 has been extended to Qianlingshan Park. Elderly visitors from out of town can ride for free with their ID cards.
