Guiyang launches shuttle bus for primary school

Guiyang Qianshuang Urban Public Transportation Co, a subsidiary of Guiyang Public Transport Co, launched a shuttle route on June 9 serving Bailang Primary School in Guiyang, making the daily commute easier for students.

After identifying commuting challenges faced by primary and secondary school students in Bailang village, Nanming district, the company surveyed students' travel patterns, routes and peak commuting times to design the new shuttle service.

The company optimized the route alignment, stop layout, and departure schedules and deployed twelve-seat electric minibuses to guarantee safe and efficient operation of the route.

The company plans to continue improving its school shuttle services by regularly gathering feedback from students and parents and refining routes and operations to better meet their commuting needs.
