Wonder Loop starts trial operation in Guiyang

The world's first urban-level "mobile space" Guiyang Wonder Loop launched trial operation on April 20, offering residents a new travel experience.

The Wonder Loop stretches nearly 8 kilometers, connecting core business districts, urban parks, and large residential communities along the route, with a one-way trip taking only 20 minutes.

Unlike traditional buses, each vehicle functions as a mobile, independent private space that supports nearly 100 lifestyle scenarios, including entertainment, music, and intangible cultural heritage experiences.

During the trial operation, five themed vehicles will be available, centered around the core theme of life in Guiyang. The music vehicle offers a unique sightseeing experience combined with karaoke, the game vehicle provides a new immersive form of entertainment, and the social vehicle creates a relaxed and stylish space for young people to make friends.

"This is such an incredibly fun experience!" said Wang, a Guiyang resident. "The vehicle has no driver's cab and can travel in both directions. It has two huge floor-to-ceiling windows, one of which also serves as a door. Looking out the window, the familiar scenery near my home feels like a flowing painting."

The ticket price is 19.9 yuan ($2.91) per person during the trial operation. Passengers can make reservations and use smart waiting services via the "Potato Bus" WeChat mini-program, or purchase tickets at the starting station.

The Wonder Loop aims to redefine urban travel through its innovative "mobile space" concept, blending technology into everyday life and aesthetics into daily commutes, becoming a new urban landmark.
