Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (贵阳国家经济技术开发区) was approved as state-level development zone on Feb 13, 2000. The zone now has a population of over 149,000 and a developed area of 9.5 square kilometers.Guiyang Economic & Technological Development Zone is located in southern Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou Province. It is the most concentrated industrial base for aeronautics, aerospace, machinery and electric processing in Guizhou province.
