State-owned Guiyang Property Group has been responding to residents' livelihood needs in Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area by addressing long-standing management issues in old residential communities, resettlement housing, and public rental housing, with the goal of improving living conditions.
A reporter visited the Senlin Zhijia Community a few days ago and found a clean, orderly environment with tree-lined streets and well-organized vehicle parking. Just a few years ago, residents had struggled with deteriorating roads, chaotic parking, and difficulties charging electric vehicles.

Since Guiyang Property Group took over, 100 new parking spaces have been added, and 160 underground parking spaces in nearby communities have been leased to help ease parking pressure. This year, the group also applied to replace three aging elevators and used maintenance funds to upgrade secondary water supply equipment.
Pan Lei, a resident of the community, said, "Whenever there is a problem that needs to be solved, as long as I call the current property management, it is resolved on the same day. That is why I am very satisfied with the property service here."
Another community undergoing transformation is Yaguan Community, a resettlement housing area that previously suffered from poor management and frequent changes of property companies. After the group took over in March 2025, the community has seen remarkable improvements, with the property fee collection rate rising from less than 10 percent to 71.67 percent.
Yang Biao, chairman of the group, stated that the group has coordinated multiple resources and invested over 5 million yuan ($735,151) of its own funds to optimize parking facilities across communities, adding nearly 1,000 parking spaces. It has also established three community-based fresh food convenience stores, supplying an average of over 2,000 kilograms of fresh produce daily. In addition, nearly 3 million yuan has been invested to upgrade elevators, fire safety systems, and other infrastructure, benefiting over 10,000 households.
