Hoosun Tech launches semi-solid battery production in Gui'an

Hoosun Technology Group's Jiuxiao Lingyun semi-solid battery series entered production at Gui'an New Area on Dec 7, marking the launch of the production line under its subsidiary in Guizhou.

Headquartered in Gui'an, Hoosun Technology is a homegrown Guizhou enterprise with manufacturing bases in Guizhou, Changzhou, and Xuancheng and R&D centers in Xi'an and Chengdu.

Its Shanghai office manages global operations, spanning the entire process from research and development through pilot production to large-scale manufacturing, and offers integrated solutions for industry partners.

The Jiuxiao Lingyun semi-solid battery series targets high-end industrial drones, intelligent robots, and premium electric motorcycles. With superior quality and safety standards, the series has already secured contracts with more than 10 clients across key regions, including the Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, and the Sichuan-Chongqing area.

Chairman Li Yuanlin said, "Solid-state battery technology is a key driver of global energy transition. The launch of the Jiuxiao Lingyun semi-solid batteries marks a significant milestone for Hoosun Technology and another breakthrough in China's solid-state battery industry."

According to Li, Gui'an New Area's focus on new energy and high-end equipment manufacturing, coupled with a favorable business environment and efficient government services, has been crucial for the project's rapid implementation.
