Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, is on track to achieve its annual development goals. Key projects advanced rapidly in the fourth quarter, driving high-quality growth in the province.
The Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group's 60,000-metric-ton-per-year iron phosphate project in Xiaozhaiba Industrial Park, Xifeng county, is over 80 percent complete. Workers are focused on equipment installation and pipeline testing and aim to begin trial production by Jan 30, 2025. Once operational, the project is expected to generate an annual output value of approximately 700 million yuan ($96.55 million).
Meanwhile, Phase I of the Shekou Net Valley Infrastructure Project in Gui'an New Area's High-End Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park has entered its main construction stage. With over 50 machines and 200 workers on site, this phase, which consists of six steel-structured buildings, is on track to be completed by the end of the year. Delivery is scheduled for June 2025.
Bijie's first large-scale oil depot in Qixingguan district is 95 percent complete. Its construction, which includes oil tanks and a railway transportation line, is set to be operational by the end of 2024. This will significantly enhance Bijie's oil supply capacity.
Guiyang remains committed to fast-tracking initiatives, ensuring timely completion while contributing to Guizhou's economic growth and development momentum.
