Guiyang and Gui'an accelerate green industrial transformation

In recent years, Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area have been accelerating their industrial green transformation by promoting the development of "green factories" and integrating high-end, intelligent, and sustainable manufacturing processes. This shift aims to enhance the city's green economy and ensure high-quality growth.

At Guizhou Aerospace Linquan Electric Co, intelligent management systems are transforming the production floor, reducing labor by 10 percent and increasing output by 12.5 percent. By lowering energy consumption by 24 percent, the company has also been certified as a national green factory.

In addition, Guizhou Xinshuguang Cable Co has led the way in digitalizing production equipment and implementing integrated intelligent manufacturing systems, which have contributed to the company becoming one of the largest cable manufacturers in Southwest China.

CRRC Guiyang Vehicle Co, known for its "garden-like factory", has focused on production and environmental improvements. The company invested over 100 million yuan ($13.94 million) to enhance energy efficiency and environmental sustainability, positioning itself as a leader in green manufacturing within the rail industry.

Guiyang and Gui'an's commitment to green development is evident, with 30 national-level and 30 provincial-level green factories established. These efforts are driving sustainable industrial growth, aligning with national carbon-reduction goals, and enhancing the region's new industrial capabilities.
