At the 2024 China Computational Power Conference, two projects from Gui'an New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province were selected as exemplary cases of advanced data storage centers.
The recognition was announced during the forum "Accelerating Advanced Data Storage Applications for New Productivity", where experts and industry leaders discussed the future of data storage innovation.
The two projects – submitted by Gui'an Industrial Control Group's Data Service Co and Cluster Co – were highlighted for their contributions to the national integrated computational power network. The Data Service Co's project focuses on building a national-level data hub that provides end-to-end data lifecycle services. This includes collection, storage, labeling, and security, with support from partners like Huawei and China Data Pay. This initiative transforms the group's business toward data asset management and full-chain data services.
Similarly, the Cluster Co's project offers data protection, intelligent knowledge management, and public data services for healthcare, education, and industrial manufacturing sectors.
These projects underscore Gui'an's role in advancing China's digital infrastructure, positioning the area as a key player in the nation's computational power network and data-driven innovation.
