Yunshang Kunpeng drives Guizhou digital growth

Yunshang Kunpeng Technology Co, based in Gui'an New Area, has reached nearly 550 million yuan ($77.93 million) in contract value and 200 million yuan in output from January to August.

The company is the only authorized producer of Huawei's Kunpeng and Ascend AI servers in Guizhou and has paid taxes close to 17 million yuan during the first half of the year.

Since its establishment in 2020, Yunshang Kunpeng has accumulated over 12 billion yuan in production value, paid nearly 50 million yuan in taxes, and contributed almost 10 million yuan in dividends to State-owned enterprises. The company manufactures and sells the "Zhaohan" brand computing products using domestic technologies such as Huawei's Ascend AI and Kunpeng.

Guizhou, the nation's first comprehensive big data experimental zone, has experienced rapid digital industry growth. Government support and booming market demand have helped cultivate a thriving digital ecosystem. Yunshang Kunpeng has participated in local projects like government cloud infrastructure and smart logistics.

The company plans to expand the local smart computing ecosystem by attracting more upstream and downstream enterprises. It aims to drive the development of Guizhou's digital economy, especially in smart city initiatives and the HarmonyOS industry ecosystem.
