CATL Guizhou facility recognized as zero-carbon factory

Contemporary Amperex Technology (Guizhou) Co was recently awarded the PAS2026 Carbon Neutrality Certification in 2023 by the globally renowned certification body SGS. This signifies the company's achievement of carbon neutrality, thus earning it the title of "zero-carbon factory".

As one of CATL's 13 major production bases, the Guizhou facility commenced operations in October 2023 within Gui'an New Area.

Adhering to the principles of "green, low-carbon, and sustainable production," the Guizhou base actively reduces carbon emissions through measures such as transitioning energy structures, utilizing distributed photovoltaic power generation, deploying green energy, and carbon offsetting.

Additionally, the integration of digital and intelligent technologies into energy-saving reforms has allowed for real-time monitoring, computation, processing, and adjustment of equipment operations to minimize inefficiencies. This reduces energy consumption throughout the production process, ultimately achieving a carbon-neutral output.
