Guiyang manufacturing industry resumes production at full capacity

In recent days, numerous enterprises in Guiyang city have actively resumed production, with all large-scale industrial enterprises in the city achieving a 100-percent resumption rate as of Feb 20.

The Qinajin Special Tire Division of Guizhou Tire, located in Xiuwen county, was established in 1958 and currently produces over 3,000 different tire varieties and specifications. These tires are exported to more than 130 countries and regions.

"Since the fifth day of the Lunar New Year, we have been operating at full production capacity, implementing a three-shift system. In the first five days of early resumption, we have already completed the production of 47,000 tires," explained a company spokesperson.

This year, the division aims to further enhance its efficiency and production capacity through project construction, management innovation, and technological advancements. In 2023, the division achieved a production capacity of 2.91 million tires and is striving to exceed 3 million tires this year.

To proactively plan for the robust start of the industrial economy, Guiyang has issued relevant documents and mobilized all districts, counties, and development zones to make concerted efforts to resume and increase production in the first quarter.

To ensure the energy and raw material needs of enterprises, the municipal industry and information technology bureau has strengthened its coordination efforts to fully guarantee the balance of supply and demand for industrial production factors.

Simultaneously, the bureau has intensified safety inspections and training for enterprises, thus ensuring a secure production environment.
