Guiyang, Gui'an firmly advance industrial development

Industrial enterprises in Guiyang city and Gui'an New Area are making significant strides, with their industrial scale continuously expanding, the pace of transformation and upgrading accelerating, and scientific and technological innovation continuously strengthening.

According to data, in 2023, the added value of industrial enterprises above a designated scale in Guiyang increased by 9.6 percent year-on-year, reaching a new high, and ranking first in the province.

Inside the production workshop of FinDreams Battery Co in Gui'an New Area, four automated production lines are running at high speed, accelerating the production of "blade batteries". The company is producing and shipping 300 battery packs and 40,000 battery cores per day.

At the CATL (Guizhou) New Energy Power and Energy Storage Battery Manufacturing Base, the automation rate has reached 95 percent, with an average production of one battery core per second and one battery pack every 2.5 minutes.

Guiyang and Gui'an has created a favorable environment for the comprehensive and full-chain digital transformation and upgrading of traditional manufacturing industries. Both places have selected three digital diagnostic service providers, such as Huawei Cloud, to provide digital transformation training for over 350 local enterprises. Currently, a digital transformation diagnosis has been conducted for 182 enterprises, promoting 105 enterprises to carry out digital transformation.
