From January to December 2023, the industrial economy of Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, maintained steady growth, showing positive trends.
Throughout the year, the value added from industrial enterprises above a designated size increased by 9.6 percent year-on-year, surpassing the national average by 5 percentage points and the provincial average by 3.7 percentage points. Among the ten provincial capital cities in China's western region, Guiyang ranks fourth, and within the province, it holds the top position.
