Guiyang project selected among top 50 projects nationwide at innovation and entrepreneurship competition

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently announced the list of the top 50 projects nationwide during the eighth "Maker China" Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. The project titled "Development and Industrialization of a Novel Wireless Laser Unidirectional Transmission Device" from Guizhou Wingscloud Technology Co (Wingscloud) was the only project from Guizhou province to be selected.

Located in the Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Wingscloud is a technology enterprise founded by a doctoral team from the National University of Defense Technology.

After several years of development, it has grown into a national high-tech enterprise and a specialized and sophisticated enterprise in Guizhou.

The company focuses on providing customers with trusted data exchange, trusted data control, and trusted artificial intelligence products and solutions. Its independently-developed domestic trusted data security exchange platform possesses leading domestic technological capabilities, the core products for which have been certified and recognized by authoritative testing institutions and procured for use.

According to Bao Yiping, the company's chairman, in response to the challenges of cybersecurity, many organizations have established internal networks to disrupt the attack chain and prevent internal data leaks. However, the secure sharing of data between internal and external networks has become an urgent issue. The goal of the selected project is to establish a secure channel between internal and external networks, ensuring the security of data elements and enabling trustworthy sharing activities.

The project has been widely applied in various regions, including Guizhou, Guangdong, Shanghai, Hunan, and Beijing. Wingscloud will represent Guizhou in the final competition at the national level with the selected project.

The eighth "Maker China" Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition consisted of 35 regional competitions, 12 key industry competitions, and one final competition for overseas regions. Over 37,000 projects registered or participated in the competition.
