In 2023, Southwest China's Guizhou province will focus on the transformation of industrial enterprises and strive to make new breakthroughs in the development of high-end, intelligent and green industries, according to the province's work conference on industry and information technology held on March 6.
Throughout the year, more than 800 industrial internet integration benchmarking demonstration projects will be carried out.
The province will promote the construction of digital production lines, unmanned workshops, and smart factories in industries such as new materials, aerospace, and electronic information manufacturing.
A special action plan for green manufacturing will be carried out, with a number of green industrial parks, green factories, green design products, and green supply chains to be built.
Also, Guizhou will accelerate the transformation of energy-saving and carbon-reducing technologies, and promote the clean, low-carbon and efficient use of energy.
The energy consumption per unit of industrial added value of industrial enterprises above a designated size – those with annual output value of 20 million yuan ($2.91 million) or more – should decrease by about 3 percent.
