Since the onset of the current COVID-19 outbreak, many cities and prefectures in Southwest China's Guizhou province have implemented static management and traffic control measures, which have affected product supply and sales and industrial development to a certain extent.

The province's industry and information technology system has made efforts to stabilize the industrial chain and supply chain on the basis of pandemic prevention and control.

The Guizhou Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, together with the Guiyang and Zunyi bureaus of industry and information technology, formed a team of 16 members to be responsible for the coordination and review of passes for key material transportation vehicles in the industrial field.

This has ensured the smooth transportation of pandemic prevention medical materials, important industrial products, key raw materials and food.

Since Sept 3, more than 3,100 qualified passes have been processed and more than 1.2 million metric tons of industry-related materials have been transported.

In addition, the province's industry and information technology system has strengthened communications and connections with the departments of development and reform, energy, and finance to coordinate and guarantee the production and electricity consumption of enterprises.
