From January to July this year, Southwest China's Guizhou province maintained strong development momentum in its emerging industries.
The added value of the equipment manufacturing industry above designated size increased by 12.8 percent year-on-year.
Of that, the added value of the computer, communications, and other electronic equipment manufacturing industries increased by 36.2 percent year-on-year, and that of the automobile manufacturing industry increased by 0.9 percent year-on-year.

The added value of the province's high-tech manufacturing industry saw a year-on-year increase of 8.8 percent.
In addition, the output of high-end products increased rapidly. The output of new energy vehicles, integrated circuits, and electronic components increased by a respective 5.7 percent, 36.6 percent, and 32.3 percent year-on-year.
Meanwhile, emerging service industries showed strong growth. The retail sales of commodities above designated size in the province through the public network grew by 28.3 percent over the same period in the previous year.
Lastly, investment in emerging industries in the province maintained rapid growth. Investment in high-tech industries increased by 0.9 percent year-on-year, of which investment in the high-tech manufacturing industry grew by 41.2 percent.
