The Guizhou provincial mining association was officially established on May 28 in Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
The association aims to unite mineral enterprises in the province, integrate advantageous resources, regulate industry order and guide green development.
It will promote the development of characteristic building material industries such as the stone industry. It will also boost the high-end development of modern industrial industries, the upgrading of the basic materials industry and the optimization and upgrading of the new building materials industry.
Guizhou is rich in mineral resources. The province ranks among the top 10 in China for its reserves of 42 kinds of minerals, and its reserves of mercury ore, barite, phosphate rock and other minerals rank first in the country.
However, for a long time, due to the traditional and intensive mining development model, Guizhou's mining enterprises have lacked core competitiveness and sustainable development capabilities.
Relying on Guizhou's big data resources, the association will build a Guizhou mining network trading platform. It will carry out in-depth cooperation with related associations and professional institutions to organize the Guizhou Mining Expo to change the trading model and brand image of Guizhou's mining industry.
On the same day, the association also signed strategic cooperation agreements with many enterprises to build high-end platforms for them. These platforms will focus on strategic planning, policy consultation, brand promotion, finance, taxation, talent introduction, technical training, social credit, and production and supply matchmaking.
