Intelligent manufacturing sees Guiyang company develop fast

In recent years, Guizhou Tyre Co based in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has actively promoted the deep integration of big data and its tire production.

The company has successively established an industrial internet system, a barcode system for the tire production process, an unmanned operating system and an intelligent scheduling system.

It has built a full-service and full-chain intelligent system, which improves production efficiency by more than 30 percent and reduces operating costs by 11.7 percent, with obvious economic and social benefits.

Its upcoming all-steel phase III project covers an area of about 240 mu (16 hectares) and when fully ramped up will achieve an annual output of 3 million all-steel radial tires, with an annual industrial output value of 3.2 billion yuan ($491.59 million).

The project will be incorporated into a leading "green smart factory" based on an industrial internet platform, boosting the company's industrial transformation and upgrading, as well as promoting the high-quality development of the new industrialization.

Guizhou Tyre Co is the largest manufacturing enterprise in Guiyang, founded in 1958. It is mainly engaged in tire R&D, production and sales. At present, it has formed nine series of products covering engineering tires, truck tires and radial tires, with more than 3,000 specifications and varieties.

It is reportedly one of the domestic tire manufacturing enterprises with relatively complete specifications and varieties.
