Guiyang HIDZ pushes integration of big data and real economy

Since the end of 2017, Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) has initiated the integration of big data and industry. It has successively cultivated 24 intelligent manufacturing and typical pilot projects to integrate informatization and industrialization.

In recent years, with a focus on good service management, Guiyang HIDZ has enhanced service measures and provided customized services for enterprises, improving the big data industry's concentration.

Regarding industry cultivation, the zone has relied on enterprise project declaration and investment promotion organized by provinces, cities and districts to create a batch of growth and start-up enterprises with excellent development potential.

It also cultivated several high-growth companies and strengthened leading data companies from six data fields, including artificial intelligence, 5G, the internet of things, cloud computing, information security and blockchain.

In 2020, it introduced two key big data enterprises and 11 strong big data companies.

In terms of industrial intelligent transformation and upgrading, Guiyang HIDZ accelerated the development of the "Guizhou Industrial Cloud" platform and built a comprehensive industrial internet platform to assist industrial enterprises in improving their level of integrated innovation and application.

Nowadays, 251 companies in Guiyang HIDZ have launched big data integration applications. The integration of big data and various social and economic fields has gradually deepened and accelerated the digitalization of regional industries.

Moving forwards in 2021, Guiyang HIDZ will continue to develop the four industrial clusters for advanced equipment manufacturing, mid-to-high-end consumer goods manufacturing, the new energy industry and the digital industry. It will also optimize the business environment to make contributions to its upgrading and high-quality development.
