Guiyang firms, industrial parks join national green system

Six enterprises and two industrial parks based in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, were recently included in the fifth green manufacturing list released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

Shougang Guiyang Special Steel Co, Guizhou Tyre Co and Guizhou Xingdaxing Building Materials Co were recognized among the latest national green factories.

The compound fertilizers and drip irrigation fertilizers produced by Guizhou Linhua Group and the compound fertilizers manufactured by Guizhou Xiyang Industrial Co were rated as national green design products.

Guizhou Cosic Linquan Motor Co was recognized as a national green supply chain management enterprise.

In addition, Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone and Guizhou Qingzhen Economic Development Zone were selected as national green parks.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology initiated the creation and selection of the green manufacturing system in 2016, which identified national green factories, green design products, green parks and green supply chain management enterprises.

The Guizhou Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology launched the certification of the provincial green manufacturing system in 2017 and rewards the enterprises that are included on the list of national and provincial green manufacturing systems.

At present, Guiyang is home to five national green factories, three national green parks, three national green design products and one national green supply chain management enterprise.
