The Guiyang division finals of the Fourth China Chuangyi Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition ended on July 30, with 13 projects advancing to the Guizhou provincial finals on behalf of the city.
This year's competition adopted the form of an online video roadshow.
During the remote roadshow, participating teams shared their project's business model and demonstrated their product's competitive attributes.
Expert reviewers gave each team a comprehensive score based on their project's innovation level, feasibility and development prospects. Judges additionally considered the number of jobs that a project could potentially create and overall team performance.
Since the start of the competition in May of this year, a total of 741 projects have registered for the competition – ranging from scientific and technological innovations to agricultural advancements. Participants include youth, students and retired soldiers.
